浏览题目:My First Year of English Learning
In the autumn of last year, I stepped into the first grade of primary school, and my life began a new chapter. Among all the subjects, English has become my favorite. Today, I want to share with you my first year of English learning.
The first thing that caught my attention in English class was the colorful pictures and lively characters in the textbooks. They made learning English interesting and enjoyable. My teacher, Miss Wang, is very kind and patient. She teaches us with great enthusiasm and encourages us to speak English as much as possible.
In the first term, we learned some basic vocabulary, such as "hello", "goodbye", "please", "thank you", and "how are you?". I was excited to find that these words are very useful in daily life. When I met my friends, I could say "hello" to them. When I needed something, I could say "please". These little words made me feel more confident in communicating with others.
As the term went on, we started to learn simple sentences. Miss Wang would teach us how to construct sentences using the words we had learned. For example, "I am happy" or "She is a teacher". We would practice these sentences in class and then perform them in front of the whole class. It was a bit scary at first, but with Miss Wang's encouragement, I gradually became more comfortable with speaking in public.
In the second term, we learned more about the alphabet. I found it quite challenging at first, but with the help of my teacher and classmates, I eventually memorized all the letters and even started to read simple words. This made me feel proud of myself, and I was eager to learn more.
One day, Miss Wang organized a fun English activity in the classroom. We had to create a short English story using the words and sentences we had learned. I worked with my partner, and we came up with a story about a little rabbit and his friend, the turtle. We used words like "run", "slow", "quick", and "happy" to describe the characters and the events in the story. It was a great experience, and I enjoyed it very much.
As the year went by, I learned more about English grammar and sentence structure. I started to understand the difference between present tense and past tense, and I could use them correctly in my sentences. It was a big step for me, and I felt like I was making progress in my English learning.
Looking back at my first year of English learning, I am grateful for all the teachers and classmates who have supported me. They have made my learning journey fun and rewarding. I have gained not only knowledge but also confidence in using English.
In the new year, I will continue to work hard and improve my English skills. I hope to be able to communicate with people from different countries and learn more about the world. English has become an essential part of my life, and I am excited to see where it will take me in the future.
In conclusion, my first year of English learning has been a wonderful journey. I have learned a lot and have had many memorable experiences. I am looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that will come in the next year. English, you have become an integral part of my life, and I will cherish this beautiful language forever.
