My First English Class

Last week, I had my very first English class. It was a big day for me because I had been waiting for this moment for a long time. English has always been a mysterious language to me, and I was excited to learn it.

The classroom was bright and colorful. There were posters with English words and sentences on the walls. My teacher, Miss Green, was smiling warmly as she welcomed us. She introduced herself and told us that she would help us learn English.

The first thing Miss Green did was to teach us how to say "hello" in English. She showed us how to pronounce the word and then asked us to repeat after her. I tried my best to copy her, but my pronunciation was not very good. However, Miss Green was patient and encouraged me to keep trying.
