My English Diary: A Day at School

**Date: March 15, 2023**

**Today's Weather: sunny and warm**

Good morning, everyone! Today, I am going to share with you my exciting day at school. As a little English learner, I have a lot to tell you about my adventures. Let's dive into my English diary!

**Morning Routine**

The day started with a bright and early morning. After having a delicious breakfast of oatmeal and fresh fruits, I made my way to school with my mom. I was excited because today was going to be a special day!

**First Period: English Class**

The first period was my favorite class, English. Our teacher, Mrs. Green, was very enthusiastic today. She started the class by asking us to recite the alphabet. I was so proud that I could remember all the letters without any help!

Next, we had a reading session. We read a short story about a friendly rabbit and his friends. I loved the story because it was about friendship and helping others. After reading, we discussed the story and answered some questions. I raised my hand and answered correctly, which made me feel really happy!

**Second Period: Math Class**

After English, we had math class. Mr. Brown, our math teacher, always makes math fun. Today, we were learning about fractions. I found it a bit challenging at first, but with Mr. Brown's help, I started to understand it better.

We did a lot of hands-on activities, like cutting paper into halves and quarters. It was so much fun! I even helped my friend, Lily, with her math problems. It felt great to be able to help someone else learn.

**Lunch Break**

Lunchtime was a blast! We had a special menu today: chicken nuggets, fries, and apple slices. I love my school's lunch because it's always so delicious. After eating, we played a game of tag in the playground. I was the "it" person, and I chased everyone around the slides and swings. It was exhausting, but I had so much fun!

**Third Period: Science Class**

The third period was science class with Mrs. Johnson. We were learning about plants today. We went outside and looked at the different trees and flowers. Mrs. Johnson showed us how to measure the height of a tree using a ruler. I was amazed by how tall some of the trees were!

We also planted some seeds in small pots. I hope they grow into beautiful flowers. Mrs. Johnson taught us how to water them and how to take care of them. I can't wait to see the results in a few weeks.

**Fourth Period: Art Class**

After science, we had art class. Mrs. Smith, our art teacher, is so creative. Today, we were drawing pictures of our favorite animals. I drew a cute panda, and I think it looks just like the real thing!

We used different colored pencils and markers to make our drawings colorful. It was relaxing and fun to create something with my hands. I can't wait to show my mom and dad my art project.

**Afternoon Activities**

The afternoon was filled with fun activities. We had a spelling bee competition, and I was so nervous! But, I managed to spell all the words correctly, and I even won a small prize. I was so happy!

We also had a science fair. Some of my classmates showed their projects, and I learned a lot about different subjects like biology, chemistry, and physics. It was fascinating!

**End of the Day**

Finally, the school day came to an end. I walked home with a big smile on my face. I felt so accomplished and happy. I learned a lot today, and I can't wait to share my new knowledge with my family.

As I look back on today, I realize how much fun learning can be. I am so grateful for my teachers, friends, and parents who support me in my journey of becoming a better English learner. I can't wait for tomorrow's adventures!
