Today was a very special day for me. It was the first day of my English class. I have always been excited about learning a new language, and today, I finally got to start.

The class was in a bright and colorful room. There were posters of animals, fruits, and the alphabet all around. My teacher, Miss Green, was very friendly and smiled at us as we entered the room. She introduced herself and told us that she would be our English teacher for the year.

Miss Green started the class by teaching us the English alphabet. She wrote each letter on the board and showed us how to pronounce it. I was surprised to see that some letters were different from the ones in Chinese. For example, the letter "b" sounds like "b" in Chinese, but the letter "v" sounds like "w" in Chinese.
